Welcome Address...
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC),
I extend a warm welcome to all esteemed guests, delegates, and participants to the 8th Conference of the Association of Radiation and Clinical Oncologists of Nigeria (ARCon). This year’s conference promises to be an exciting and enriching experience, as we gather in the vibrant Garden City of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from September 6th to 12th, 2024.
A Hub of Oncology Excellence
The theme of our conference, “Innovating Through Collaboration: Building a Resilient Nigerian Oncology Ecosystem,” reflects our commitment to advancing cancer care in Nigeria and beyond. As we strive to become the hub of oncology in the West African subregion, we invite participants from across the African continent and beyond to join us in this journey. Our conference has consistently been a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers, and stakeholders in the field of oncology.
Celebrating Success
The success of our previous conferences has set the stage for an exceptional experience this year. We are confident that the 8th ARCon Conference will be no exception, offering a unique blend of scientific sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Our goal is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, the sharing of best practices, and the forging of partnerships that will drive innovation and progress in cancer care.
